How Cialis Works

Cialis belongs to a class of medications known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Dosage and Administration

Cialis can be taken either on an as-needed basis or as a daily medication:

• As-needed dosing: Typically involves taking 10 mg at least 30 minutes before sexual activity; it may be adjusted based on effectiveness up to a maximum dose of 20 mg.
• Daily dosing: Involves taking a lower dose (usually 2.5 mg or 5 mg) once daily regardless of sexual activity timing.
